Biography of
Christian Palko
By: Kelsey Keeling

Child years
Christian Palko was born on May 4,1973 in Würzburg, Germany. He was born from American parents. Bill Murray (Christian’s father) was stationed in West Germany on a military base as a member of the military police. Christian lived at the base until he was four years old and his father got caught and charged with distributing and using the drug heroin. The family of three was sent back to the United States where they lived in Middletown,New York.
Christians father, Murray, continued to use the drug heroin and he did not even try to hide the drugs or his use of the drug from his still growing son. The young Palko was often forced by Murray to tie a home-made tourniquet around his father’s arm so Murray could inject heroin into his arm. At the age of eight, during a standoff with the police Palko’s father threatened his family with a shotgun and ended up in jail. Who knows how much mental damage that caused the young Palko. That was the last time the eight year old Palko would see his father.
Teen years
While in High School Palko’s mother had remarried twice. Palko would usually come home to an abusive step father, Frank. Since Palko’s step father would abuse him Palko turned to drugs such as: PCP, cocaine, LSD, cannabis, and alcohol. By then Palko had been expelled from school. To top that all off he was kicked out of the house and sent to live with his uncle at a military base in Germany where he was beaten. After 1 year Palko was sent home.
After being sent home from being at the military base Palko was arrested multiple times for fighting on the streets and drug possession. Palko also faced serious jail time for violating probation. During his trial Palko’s mother convinced the judge that her son was mentally disabled. So instead of going to jail Palko was sent to Stony Ledge Psychiatric Hospital for 16-18 months where he became a test patient for fluoxetine or also known as Prozac. After being misdiagnosed and put on fluoxetine Palko became depressed and suicidal. He had made several attempts on his life which led to solitary confinement. There Palko had nothing else to do than write all his thoughts and words on paper.
Musical career
Once Palko was released from Stony Ledge at the age of 18 Palko was confident with his writing skills and set off to pursue the career as a rap artist/rapper. By then Palko gave himself the stage name/nickname Alex. After getting a manager and recording a demo he was introduced to the rapper Pete Nice of 3rd bass . Palko then made an appearance on the album Dust to Dust.
